I'm back and I have a lot to talk about!

Hi all, I'm back and I have a lot to unpack. I am working on a lot of projects this year and I am excited to share them with you all. Last year was a really hard one, you probably don't know, but I suffer from mental health, and that was the main reason I created this website. I wanted to raise awareness through my creativity, remove the stigma around people with mental health and remind people that everyone has struggles and issues related to mental health, from Stress to depression to psychosis.

According to https://www.mind.org.uk/ currently, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England

1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in England. To me, that says a lot, and honestly, as a Christian, I hope to get through to people using my created gift given to me by God.

I am now venturing into other artistic industries first is tattooing. I want to pursue this industry because of the benefits, such as:

A Creative Outlet and Self-Expression:

  • Tattoo art allows for a strong outlet for creativity and self-expression, which can be a powerful tool for managing mental health.

An Increase in Self-Esteem and Confidence:

  • Creating beautiful and meaningful tattoos can boost self-esteem and confidence, as you see your work bring joy to others.

Sense of Purpose and Fulfillment:

  • Helping clients create tattoos that hold personal meaning can provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment, knowing you're contributing to their well-being.

Positive Social Interactions:

  • Working as a tattoo artist involves interacting with a variety of people, which can help combat social isolation and foster a sense of community.

Stress Reduction:

  • The focus and flow of creating art can be a natural stress reliever, offering a mindful activity that can help calm the mind.

Neurodivergent Tattooists:

  • Some neurodivergent tattooists have found that their mental health has improved when they are at their best creatively and practically, with tasks being less daunting.

Tattoos as a Healing Tool:

  • For some, getting a tattoo can be a conscious act of reclaiming control over one's body, which can be a positive step in the healing process.

I believe that Tattoos can be a tool for mindfulness and endurance.

Secondly, I will be releasing a new music album based on my journey. I sing about my experiences with life, mental health, my struggles with suicide, relationships, motivation, and how I view the world (pros and cons). I have a few songs ready, but I'm not quite finished yet, so I will keep it a surprise. But I will give a sneak peek of one of my songs. Give it a listen!

Ultimately I want to create a community of like-minded people who are eager to learn, prosper, and share their struggles and achievements with mental wellness. I will be making a few changes showcasing my music and creative designs going deeper into mental health and how to overcome it. But don't worry it will still be live. As always I will start to create more mental health digital art but who knows I may venture back into traditional mediums (watercolour, oil paint, acrylic etc).

Anyway, that is my update! Stay healthy and live life to the fullest.

Check out my Journey so far on my blog.
